Things to do at Manley Mere review
Manley Mere is a large lake in Frodsham Cheshire which offers a range of water and land activity sports.
There is a 40-acre lake with a wide variety of watersports. The lake is man-made and has undergone two extensions to create the lake that is there today. Cheshire Aquapark is on the lake over the summer. This is an on the water obstacle course with over 60 individual pieces joined together. There’s balance beams, slides, a giant swing and more. The obstacles are designed for all ages. Although all participants must be 7 or over and able to swim 25 metres.
You can also fish on parts of the lake and enjoy open water swimming. Other watersports include single kayak, double kayak, stand up paddle boards, canoes, dinghies and self launch.
There is an adventure trail on land that is about 3/4 miles long and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. The trail is suitable for all ages but certain obstacles are designed with older children and adults in mind. The main path is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Expect to get muddy and wet and have lots of fun!
