Located in Glasgow, Renfrew Street is the Cineworld Cinema. It has 18 screen state-of-the-art cinema screens over 3 levels including VIP screens, Cineworld is one of the leading UK multiplex cinema chains. It is located in the city centre and is the tallest cinema in the world. They show the latest movies for young and old. It has local transport links and a wide range of restaurants nearby.
At the cinema films can be played in 2D, HFR (high frame ratio) and 4DX which is a revolutionary cinematic experience that stimulates all 5 senses. Plus some of the films are shown in superscreen where movies are made to feel like masterpieces. The multidimensional sound is powered by Dolby Atmos speakers. The sound will make you feel like you are there in the film. The huge screens are a sight to behold. They also show some of their films in RealD 3D. These immersive films are watched with their stylish glasses (£1 a pair)
This cinema also offers VIP experiences to help make that special occasion extra specials. 45 minutes before the film you have access to a VIP lounge which they encourage their guests to use. You have unlimited snacks and drinks with the VIP experience and the film is shown in an intimate screening room with luxury recliner seats.
At this cinema, there is a Baskin Robbins ice cream and a Starbucks. Popcorn, drinks, hot dogs and nachos are also available. They also have movie for junior sessions with extra discounted tickets and special Cinebabies screenings.
