Things to do at City Sightseeing York Hop On Hop Off Tour review
The City Sightseeing hop on hop off tour bus in York is a great way to see and explore this great city. The first stop on the route is just a short distance from York Minster which makes a great starting point. There are many other stops, 20 in total, along the route where you can also get on or off the bus.
The top-level has an open roof so the buses don’t tend to run over the winter. There’s usually a bus every 20 minutes and if there isn’t live commentary available on the bus you can pick up some headphones and listen in 10 different languages to a fascinating commentary all about York.
The bus stops at, or as close to as possible, many of the key tourist attractions in the CIty. You could choose to stop at Clifford’s Tower and the wonderful Castle museum next to it. There are parks to explore, the Minster, great views and so much more.
Please note – Most places may still require you to pre-book online in advance. Some venues also still have certain areas closed for safety reasons. Please check their website and/or social media pages before visiting.
