Clue HQ Birmingham review
Clue HQ Birmingham is located on the outskirts of the city centre. It is a Live Escape Game venue where you are locked in a room and you and your family are given 60 minutes to escape. There are clues and puzzles to solve plus items to find that will all aid in your escape.
You can play in teams of 2 to 6 players. At this venue, there are 9 immersive escape rooms to choose from. It is great fun for all the family and a great opportunity for you all to work together.
Rooms include Captain Riddle’s forgotten fortune, The Hevlevator, A-I-9, Cell Block C, The Legend of Miyalock and Core Reactor A, B, C. Below is some further information about a few of these escape games.
The Betrayal of Cluetankhamun has a difficulty rating is 3 out of 5. A long lost tomb was unearthed for the first time and a team of explorers were sent to recover an important jewel that is believed to possess the power of the Nile. The explorers haven’t been seen for several days so your task is to go down into the tomb to retrieve the crystal and hopefully the exploring party before you. There are optional smoke effects and flashing lights. Plus one player must climb steps and another must crawl.
The Legend of Miyalock Forbidden Magic, with a difficulty rating of 3 out of 5, tells of a treasure hidden deep within a mountain. It is shrouded in magic and mystery and guarded by the spirit of the dragon Malaki. You need to retrieve Miya’s wand, master the magic of the past and join the fight to defeat Malaki once and for all.
Captain Riddle’s Forgotten Fortune has a difficulty rating of 4 out of 5. He was once a notorious pirate famous for pillaging. You and your crew have commandeered his old ship and are sailing out in search of his gold.
With regards to age, they welcome those over 7 years old although they feel that under 10s may find it difficult.
