Things to do at Cornish Seal Sanctuary review

Located in Gweek, Cornwall is the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. They are a registered charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline. You and your family can visit the centre and help support the rescue of the seal pups.

Each season from September to March the sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for a variety of reasons. The sanctuary is also a permanent home to their animals, that need special care. At the sanctuary, you can see these wonderful animals, up close and learn all about their individual stories.

At the sanctuary, you will be able to see grey seals, common seals and even Southern sea lions. Plus they also have some fun Humboldt penguins and beavers. At the sanctuary, they also have some large paddocks where you can see ponies, goats and sheep. They also have a pirate play area for the kids.

Look out for their daily talks and feeding times. They can even host your child’s birthday party. Plus you can book experiences that include breakfast with the seals, keeper for the day, beaver tour, afternoon tea and tour and behind the seals experience.
