Things to do at Crealy Theme Park and Resort review
Crealy Theme Park and Resort is the south-west of England’s largest family theme park. Located in Clyst St Mary near Exeter in Devon the park has over 60 rides, attractions, a zoo and live shows. If you want to maximise your time in the park there are also hot tub lodges, glamping and camping available.
There are a wide variety of rides with something to suit everyone. The bigger rides have varying height limits. They include the Twister, the Jolly Roger, Maximus rollercoaster and the Vortex water ride. Plus the Flying Dutchman, a log flume and flying machine, Tamer family rides still with height restrictions include the Grand Prix, aqua blaster, Dino jeeps, Shark bay, Super subs and Dolphin Drop.
They also have tamer family rides with no height limit. These rides are Neptunes sea cups, Safari Express, Honey swing and a Victorian carousel. As well as the huge indoor play areas there are play areas outdoors including pedal karts, Fort Crealy play area, Pirates’ revenge play area, Jungle wars, Dino dig, Wilderness and Pirates’ lost treasure. The park hosts a number of school holiday events.
Indoors there are some huge soft play areas. The Blue Lagoon is a soft play area with a water theme. The biggest soft play area is the Adventure zone which is home to 75,000 sq feet of indoor play. Buddy Bear’s Kingdom is perfect for under 5s. As well as the zoo and its animals outdoors Jungle journey is a new indoor animal attraction.
