Cream O Galloway

Cream O Galloway

The Cream O Galloway Ice Cream Parlour is located near the Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway. It is on the site of a working dairy farm with farmer-led tours, crazy golf and nature trails.

During the school holidays, you can go on family-friendly farm tours. These last for approximately 75 minutes and you will be led around by a member of their visitor centre who will share stories and information about life on their farm including what animals they have and how they look after them. You will go inside their big dairy shed and see the milking parlour plus how it is prepared.

They also offer family-friendly ice cream-making workshops. These last for 90 minutes and you can get hands-on creating your very own dream ice cream, workshops run during selected weeks. You even get to take it away with you at the end. This is suitable for children aged 5 and over.

Outdoors there is a 9-hole crazy golf course with a range of farm-themed obstacles. They also have a crazy croquet course where you will use a mallet to hit your ball around themed obstacles and through a hoop to score. There are four miles of signposted nature trails. The trails take in two wildlife lochans, a wildlife hide and acres of woodland.
