Daisy Nook Country Park
Daisy Nook Country Park is located in Failsworth near Oldham, Greater Manchester. It is 40 hectares in size and has a varied landscape. The park is managed by two local councils and it is a great place to enjoy a walk.
The park is made up of waterways, a lake, a canal, woodlands and wildflower meadows. It is a great place to do some bird watching and to look for other wildlife such as foxes and squirrels.
Also in the park, there is a children’s play area with log balances, scrambling boulders, a cradle swing, a rock hill fort and more. You can also bring your bike plus there is an orienteering trail, fishing (day tickets are available) and pond dipping.
