Things to do at Diggerland Kent review
Diggerland Kent is one of 4 digger themed parks in the UK. It features life-sized diggers, excavators and more for kids and big kids. Located in Roman Way near Strood with amazing views across the River Medway and Rochester’s 11th century cathedral and 12th century castle. Make sure you have your camera ready on the Diggerland Skyshuttle that takes you 50 feet up from the ground.
Diggerland Kent is home to lots of digger related fun that both adults and children can enjoy. You can drive JCBs, steer loaders around a bumpy, muddy track, hook a duck using a compact mini-excavator on the Dippy Ducks ride, or sit back and enjoy a Jeep Safari ride through the woods if you want someone else to do the hard work.
The majority of the activities are outdoors at Diggerland so it’s definitely more suited to sunnier weather. There is an indoor area which is home to the cafe, a well-sized soft play area, various indoor games and a space which can be hired out for birthday parties but if the weather is wet this space can become busy very quickly.
Please note – Most places may still require you to pre-book online in advance. Some venues also still have certain areas closed for safety reasons. Please check their website and/or social media pages before visiting.
