Dinton Pastures Country Park
Located in Wokingham near Reading, this large country park is perfect for anybody who loves outdoor activities. Dinton Pastures has an absolutely stunning play area for children of all ages. With swings, slides, wooden structures, a giant chair, wooden dinosaur eggs, sandpits and climbing frames you could easily spend hours just in this part of the country park.
What is there to do at Dinton Pastures Country Park?
Beyond the play area is the beautiful large lake. Here you can feed the ducks, take a stroll all the way around (give yourself plenty of time!) or you could hire one of the many boat options and take to the water.
Dinton Activity Centre is a fully affiliated training centre with the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority, Royal Yachting Association, British Canoeing and Ofsted. It offers teen and junior courses during the school holidays and boating hire for all ages at the weekend.
On a hot summer day, Dinton Pastures is a wonderful place to take a picnic, get shelter from the sun on the lake walk under the trees and cool down by paddling in the river. You could also ride your bike, bring your dog for a walk and even enjoy a round of adventure golf at the on-site course.
