Things to do at Dinton Pastures Country Park review
Located in Wokingham near to Reading, this large country park is perfect for anybody who loves outdoor activities. Dinton Pastures has an absolutely stunning play area for children of all ages. With swings, slides, wooden structures, a giant chair, wooden dinosaur eggs, sandpits and climbing frames you could easily spend hours just in this part of the country park.
Beyond the play area is the beautiful large lake. Here you can feed the ducks, take a stroll all the way around (give yourself plenty of time!) or you could hire one of the many boat options and take to the water.
Dinton Activity Centre is a fully affiliated training centre with the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority, Royal Yachting Association, British Canoeing and Ofsted. It offers teen and junior courses during the school holidays and boating hire for all ages at the weekend.
On a hot summer day, Dinton Pastures is a wonderful place to take a picnic, to get shelter from the sun on the lake walk under the trees and to cool down by paddling in the river. You could also ride your bike, bring your dog for a walk and even enjoy a round of golf at the on-site course.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
