Elton Hall and Gardens is located in the beautiful countryside on the Cambridgeshire/Northamptonshire border. It is situated a few miles southwest of Peterborough and it has been the ancestral home of the Proby family since 1660.

What can you do at Elton Hall and Gardens?

The building today incorporates 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th-century parts and is a Grade I listed building. As well as being able to visit the house you can also see the restored gardens. They also host a number of annual events.

Around the house, you can see the chapel, marble staircase, drawing room, dining room and two of their three libraries. The gardens include a lily pond, flower garden, orangery, and a topiary shrub garden.

Only assistance dogs are permitted outdoors. No dogs are permitted in the house.

Are they accessible?

The Garden is accessible for wheelchairs via gravel paths. The house is not accessible to wheelchairs etc. Please contact the venue for further information.
