Enginuity Museum

Enginuity Museum

Museum Overview

Enginuity Museum is part of the Ironbridge collection of museums and is located in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire. It is a fun science and engineering museum, especially for kids.

It’s a great place for your kids to find out more about the way things work. You can have a go at fun experiments and get hands-on with various activities at the museum. You can test your reactions against the speed of a robot, generate power from water, pull a locomotive by hand and see through things with their giant X-ray machine.

You can also attempt to build an earthquake-proof tower and challenge your parents to build the strongest tower. They also have amazing workshops during school holidays. There is a small soft play area for younger kids. Enginuity is also home to the world’s longest-span model bridge. Made from 205,000 Leo bricks, it is 34 metres long.
