Farmer Copleys is located near Pontefract, West Yorkshire. They have a variety of ‘seasonal,’ offerings such as PYO fruit, a maize maze and pick-your-own pumpkins.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch
Join us this year for our famous, family-fun pumpkin picking here. We’ve grown over 130,000 pumpkins and we’ll have all the usual antics going on as well as some new exciting additions. We can’t wait to welcome you once again to find your perfect pumpkins. Pumpkin Experience and this year is no different. We’ll have our Tractor Ride, Bird of Prey Shows, Archery, Vintage Rides, Storytime, Magical Mr Zen, Face Painting, Riverside Paint A Pot, Daily Fancy Dress Competition, Photo Opportunities Galore, plus loads more.”
Dogs will not be allowed on the patch itself. Make sure you wear sensible shoes/wellies. Pumpkins range in price from £1.50 to a jumbo £12.
Cost? Wheelbarrows are £10 to rent. Tickets are £4 each at peak times, £2 off-peak and must be pre-booked. Under 3’s are free, and don’t require a ticket.
Maize Maze – Copleys Corn Maze
The maize maze at Famer Copleys is one of the largest in the UK. The mazes are interactive meaning there’s loads to do including rubbings, Maze-0-Vision, games sheets and more activities in the Fun Park for all to enjoy. Extra activities included a jumping pillow, mini wagon ride, bale mountain, tyre mountain, pedal karts and slide. Tickets had to be bought online in advance.

They also have pick your own strawberries, when in season.
Other things to do at the Farmer Copleys
Cafe – The Moo cafe is open for most of the year. You can order online and have your food delivered to your table. The menu at the cafe reflects the season with quality fresh produce. They also serve afternoon tea.
Dog friendly? Unfortunately, we don’t allow dogs other than service dogs into the café or farm shop or in the PYO or food fields.
