Foxes Farm Produce has two locations in Essex, one in Basildon and the other in Colchester. They have a variety of ‘seasonal,’ offerings such as PYO pumpkins, family mud runs, Christmas trees and a maize maze.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch
Unlike some pick your own pumpkin fields, this one doesn’t open on wet days so do check before you leave home. This year they have plenty of pumpkins including some really big ones! They also have a pumpkin scavenger hunt, lots of photo opportunities, over 15 varieties of pumpkins plus hot and cold food and drinks.
Cost? You must prebook online in advance. A family ticket is just £6 and covers 4 people. Additional tickets are £2.00.
Maize Maze?
They usually have a maize maze open for most of the summer.

Other things to do at Foxes Farm Produce
Each year they host their famous family Mud Runs. It’s a 1.5km multi-lap obstacle course. The mud run is best suited to those age 4 and over.
Fresh Christmas trees are also available to purchase during the Christmas season.
Catering wise they usually have drinks and food available to purchase.

Dog friendly? Dogs are not allowed in the pumpkin field. They do have special days when dogs can join in with the mud run.
