Go Ape Cannock Chase
Go Ape at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. On-site there is the longest combined crossing of any Go Ape location with nearly 1,500 metres of tree-to-tree crossings on their challenge course. There are a few challenges including The Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure and Forest Segways.
Things to do at Go Ape Cannock Chase
Treetop Challenge – With a dizzyingly high zip line of 260m this course is the ultimate adrenalin rush. You can your family can test your nerve on Slack Line, Rollers obstacles and more. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4m.
Treetop adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip-wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour.
Forest Segways – Heavy-duty all-terrain Segways with spectacular off-road trails. Duration 1 hour. There is no minimum age/height, however, participants must be at least 45kg/7 stone.
During the darker months, they also offer Sundown Sessions which are worth checking out. Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There are cycling and walking trails, a play area and sculptures. More info about Cannock Chase.
