Go Ape at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex is one of the newest addition to the chain of Go Ape attractions across the UK. It features three high ropes experiences including high-speed ziplines, free-fall Tarzan Swings and a host of tricky tree-to-tree crossings.
Things to do at Go Ape Chelmsford Hylands Park
Treetop Challenge – With three loops offering obstacles of varying difficulty and route options, including the infamous Tarzan Swing, tree-to-tree zip wires, and a final zip to finish. Treetop Challenge is the place for adults and children over 1.4m to get their adrenaline kicks and earn their adventure stripes.
Treetop Adventure – Treetop Adventure is a high ropes course for families with children over 1m tall. The course features multiple loops of crossings that finish with a super-fun zip wire down to the ground. Duration 1-2 hours.
The first loop is a low-level, 1-meter-off-the-ground obstacle course designed to help children build their confidence before they move on to the higher levels.
Treetop Adventure Plus – Ready to climb higher and zip further? Treetop Adventure Plus is all about more height, more thrills and more fun, ideal for older children over 6 years old and 1.2m.
After finding their confidence on a loop of the Treetop Adventure course, young explorers can take their adventure to the next level, advancing higher into the tree tops to put their skills to the test. The crossings get more tricky, with added wobble for extra laughs, plus the zip-wire finale is even longer and more thrilling. Duration 1-2 hours, Minimum age 6 and minimum height 1.2m.
Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the park to keep everyone entertained. There are many walking trails and an excellent adventure playground.
