Go Ape at Dalkeith, near Edinburgh in Scotland is located in the beautiful Dalkeith Country Park just two minutes from the Edinburgh Bypass. The main course boasts eight zip wires across the River Esk. There are a few challenges including The Treetop Challenge, the Treetop Adventure and the Treetop Adventure Plus.
Things to do at Go Ape Dalkeith Edinburgh
Treetop Challenge – Specially designed so that you can tailor your thrill level. There are four loops of fun with sky-scraping platforms, challenging crossings and hair-raising zips. The challenge takes 1 to 2 hours to navigate your way around. There is no minimum age although there is a minimum height of 1.4m.
Treetop Adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip-wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour.
Treetop Adventure Plus – This is great for teenagers wanting to push themselves a bit further. It is designed for children above 1.2m and 6 years of age. This includes the Treetop adventure course plus an extension with more challenging obstacles, higher platforms and a longer zip wire. Duration 1 hour.
Duration times include safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the park to keep everyone entertained. There are walking paths, an adventure playground, historic buildings and more.
