Things to do at Go Ape Delamere Forest review
Go Ape at Delamere Forest in Cheshire is home to four challenges including The Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, Treetop Adventure Plus and Forest Segway.
Treetop Challenge – This course is great for those wanting to challenge themselves or those wanting to find their tree legs. Your reward after tackling the Infernal Traverse is a 212-metre long zip wire. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is no minimum age although there is a minimum height of 1.4m.
Treetop Adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. Be warned that the Criss Crossing is tough but there is a sense of freedom on the two zip wires. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour.
Treetop Adventure Plus – This is great for teenagers wanting to push themselves a bit further. It is designed for children above 1.2m and 6 years of age. This is an extension to the Treetop Adventure course with more challenging obstacles, higher platforms and a longer zip wire. Duration 1 hour.
Forest Segway – Heavy-duty all-terrain Segways on spectacular off-road trails. Duration 1 hour. There is no minimum age/height, however, there is a minimum weight of 45kg/7st.
During the darker months, they also offer Sundown Sessions which are worth checking out. Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There are walking or cycling trails, Gruffalo orienteering and more. More info about Delamere Forest.
