Things to do at Go Ape Forest of Dean Beechenhurst review

Go Ape at Forest of Dean Beechenhurst, Gloucestershire is sandwiched between the River Severn and the River Wye. Challenges on-site include The Treetop Adventure and the Treetop Adventure Plus.

Treetop Adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour. You and your kids can gave a go on the perilous Stepping Stone and Button Bridge before the ultimate ‘flying experience’ on the double zip wire finale.

Treetop Adventure Plus – This is great for teenagers wanting to push themselves a bit further. It is designed for children above 1.2m and 6 years of age. It includes the Treetop Adventure plus there is an extension with challenging obstacles, high platforms and a longer zip wire.

Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There are cycling, walking and running trails plus their famous Sculpture Trail which encompasses a four miles long walk and features sculptures created by artists to interpret the forest environment.
