Go Ape at Glentress Forest Peebles is set in dramatic Scottish scenery with a challenging course including a 325-metre zip wire across a valley that’s 160ft high. There are a couple of challenges including The Treetop Challenge and the Zip Line Experience.
Things to do at Go Ape Glentress Forest Peebles
Treetop Challenge – See the adventure unfold while you traverse the huge Douglas fir trees and zip over the mountain bike trails and open water. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4m.
Zip Line Experience – Enjoy the thrill of epic zip wire rides. Their trained instructors will see you know how to stay safe as you ride their 48-metre high, 325-metre long zip wire, then back home on their 220-metre zip. Duration 1 hour. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4 metres.
During the darker months, they also offer Sundown Sessions which are worth checking out. Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There are over 50 miles of purpose-built mountain bike trails. Plus there are walking trails and a Wild Watch centre.
