Go Ape at Thetford Park in Norfolk is where the Go Ape story first began. There are a few challenges including The Treetop Challenge, Treetop adventure, Treetop adventure Plus and Forest Segways.

Treetop Challenge – The dual high ropes course allows you to choose which obstacles and crossings to take. There’s a tricky ladder to conquer and you will need to challenge your strengths to reach the top of the cargo net, there are tandem zip wires and dual Tarzan swings. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4m.

Treetop adventure – With Tarzan swings, stepping stones and zip wires there is a multitude of challenges. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour.

Treetop adventure Plus – This is great for teenagers wanting to push themselves a bit further. It is designed for children above 1.2m and 6 years of age. The course includes the Treetop adventure challenge with an extra section including higher platforms, an epic 100-metre long zip wire and extra challenges including a suspended net tunnel.

Forest Segways – Heavy-duty all-terrain Segways with spectacular off-road trails. Explore the forest and tackle their four purpose-built routes through the woodland. Duration 1 hour. There is no minimum age or weight however participants must be 45kg/7 st in weight.

During the darker months, they also offer Sundown Sessions which are worth checking out. Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There are bike and walking trails, orienteering routes, archery, and an adventure play area.
