Go Ape at Wyre Forest, near Bewdley, in Worcestershire is set in one of Britain’s oldest remaining ancient forests. There are two challenges including The Treetop Challenge and the Treetop Adventure.
Things to do at Go Ape Wyre Forest
Treetop Challenge – Designed specifically for the adventurous there are high-rise zip wires, stepping stones and more including an extreme trip across the Stirrups. The longest zip wire is 160 metres. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4m.
Treetop adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip-wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour. The course is a great confidence builder.
During the darker months, they also offer Sundown Sessions which are worth checking out. Duration times including safety briefings. Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the forest to keep everyone entertained. There is a children’s play area, activity trail, Gruffalo orienteering plus cycling and walking trails. There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks.
What are the main things to do?
High rope courses are situated in the forest plus other things to do including a children’s play area, activity trail, Gruffalo orienteering, cycling and walking trails. There are toilets and a cafe.
What are the ticket prices?
Treetop Challenge – 16+ years are £33 each and those aged 10-15 are £30 each. Treetop adventure – £20 per person.
