Things to do at Great Notley Country Park review
Great Notley Country park is a large public parkland near Braintree in Essex. With horse riding, cycling paths, walks, sky ropes and a large wooden adventure play area.
The park is a great day out for all the family. It covers 100 acres of open space and is home to Sky Ropes. This is a high ropes adventure course plus a smaller course suitable for children from 2 years of age. There is a charge for taking part in this activity.
The park also has Essex’s longest play trail. Kids can jump, swing, slide and crawl their way around 1.2km of fun. There are giant see-saws, swing scales, a climbing forest and rope climbers. Plus slides, forts and a large sand play area.
If you want to get away from it all there’s plenty to explore in the park. Other popular activities include birdwatching, fishing, walking and cycling. Plus horse riding, football and kite flying.
