Gwili Steam Railway

Gwili Steam Railway

The Gwili Steam Railway is located in Bronwydd Arms, near Carmarthen in Wales. It is a nostalgic rail station with train rides on antique steam trains.

The line is currently 4 miles long and travels between Abergwili junction and Danycoed Halt. It departs from Bronwydd Arms station. The round trip takes just over 8 hours and you can only start and finish your journey from the Bronwydd Arms station.

They aim to run a steam service although this sometimes may have to be substituted for a diesel train. The journey will take you through open fields and wooded hills. There is a miniature railway and picnic site near the Llwyfan Cerrig station. They run a number of annual events, plus dining cars.
