Things to do at Heads of Ayr Farm Park review

The Heads of Ayr Farm Park is in Alloway by Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland. As well as animals, there is a fun park with various fun things to play on, indoors and outdoors!

There is an indoor animal zone with an extensive range of animals,. The Little Critters animal barn has small animal handling sessions and you can see guinea pigs, rabbits, parrots, ferrets and more. There is also an Aztec reptile zone full of exotic creatures with lizards, snakes and more.

Outdoors there are monkeys and lemurs, keep your eye out for their daily feeding times. Plus there are meerkats, otters, a wallaby walkthrough, camels, raccoons and more. Not forgetting your farmyard favourites with ponies, donkeys, goats and pigs. You can help feed their farmyard animals,.

Indoors there are three giant slides, a large adventure play area with two storeys soft play. Plus a new and exciting foam cannon ball game, diggers with sand kids can move about, a combine harvester to play on and a pre-school area.

Outdoors there are many different play areas including a Buccaneer bay themed play area, a Frontier fort, Digger land diggers and bumper boats. Plus water wars, quad bikes, jumping pillows, an aerial runway and sledging. If that’s not enough there is also an activity tower, trampolines, quad and barrel ride, quacky racers, a giant sandpit and welly boot throwing. They even have a miniature railway.

There is Roosters restaurant that serves hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

As well as your entrance ticket a few of their extra activities have an additional cost. These include Adult Quad Bikes (12 years, min. height restriction of 5ft): £6.00, Child Quad Bikes (7-11 years): £5.00, Bumper Boats: £2.00, Train: £2 per person, Quacky Racers: £1 per duck and Electric Tractors/Quads: £1.
