Holker Hall and Gardens

Holker Hall is set in 200 acres of gardens and woodlands with a deer park and tours of the hall. It is just a short drive from Grange over Sands and Morecambe Bay in Cumbria.

The house offers guided tours. It is the home of the Cavendish family and there are many lavish rooms that you will be taken around. These include the library, drawing room, billiard room, bedrooms and more.

There are 23 acres of immaculately kept gardens with a series of formal gardens. The gardens are a credit to the Cavendishes’ eye for detail with exotic plants and a sense of fun. The gardens have won numerous awards. Kids will love running around the labyrinth with its standing stones. There are walks of around an hour to an hour and a half.

Is there food and drink available?

There is a cafe, restaurant and food hall all serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic in the grounds.

Hall with guided tours, extensive gardens with walks. There are toilets and places to eat.

What are the ticket prices?

Gardens and parkland tickets cost £9 per person, children go free with an accompanying adult. Other pricing options including annual passes are available.

Dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome in the Gardens, parkland, café and outside areas, as long as they are kept on a short lead. Dogs are not permitted in the Hall, except Assistance Dogs.
