Things to do at Holker Hall and Gardens review
Holker Hall is set in 200 acres of gardens and woodlands with a deer park and tours of the hall. It is just a short drive from Grange over sands and Morecambe bay in Cumbria.
The house offers guided tours. It is the home of the Cavendish family and there are many lavish rooms that you will be taken around. These include the library, drawing room, billiard room, bedrooms and more.
There are 23 acres of immaculately kept gardens with a series of formal gardens. The gardens are a credit to the Cavendishes eye for detail with exotic plants and a sense of fun. The gardens have won numerous awards. Kids will love running around the labyrinth with its standing stones. There are walks of around an hour to an hour and a half.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
