The Hull and East Riding Museum is located in the Old Town of Hull close to other free-to-visit museums. In the museum, you will enter a world where more than 200 million years of history are brought to life.

At the museum, you can see all parts of history from majestic mammoths to Saxon invaders. You can look forward to an experience that is unique, educational and fun. There is a walkthrough Iron Age village and you can enter a Roman bathhouse and look at some stunning mosaics.
There is a mysterious crew of wooden warriors waiting to be discovered, as well as some medieval treasures. The museum features displays that show what it would have been like to live in the region throughout time. The museum also includes the only dinosaur bones to have been discovered within East Yorkshire. Plus stone tools that were once used by some of the earliest human settlers.
