Kingswood Heritage Museum
Museum Overview
The Kingswood Heritage Museum is located in Warmley near Bristol. It is the largest independent museum in South Gloucestershire and is housed in an old zinc works. Exhibits are focused on local manufacturing such as boot making, coal mining and zinc extraction.
You can see part of an 18th-century ice house and discover more about the story of coal mining. There is a Victorian Parlour with everyday articles from the late 19th century. The museum has a 1950s living room and kitchen plus items from WWII and more.
The museum also has gardens you can explore where you will find many places of interest including grottoes, a boat house, a pond, a lake, an elm walk, a summer house and more.
