Things to do at The Wave Bristol review

The Wave is a relatively new attraction to Bristol where the ‘waves of the sea’ are brought inland. You can take part in artificial inland surfing where everyone can surf on consistent and safe waves all year round. They even have a brand new campsite on-site with 25 spacious and comfortable tents you can hire.

Surfing and nature are brought to you in a fresh new way of thinking and this sporting activity is brought safely to those young and old. They can create a great variety of waves to suit all levels of surfer from beginner to expert. The Wave was the first inland-surfing destination of its kind.

They have a great outdoor space including a playground for the kids plus food and drink. You can purchase spectator passes for £2 per person. The Wave offers surf lessons for beginners so you can improve your skills in a fun and supportive environment. You can also book non-guided surf sessions for intermediate and advanced surfers. They have a 180m long surfing lake and the waves are created with Wavegarden Cove technology and the waves can range from 50cm to almost 2m.

All prices include the use of a surfboard and wetsuit. Children can take part from the age of 6 with their range of surf lessons.
