Kiplin Hall has a history spanning 400 years and is located in Richmond, North Yorkshire. There’s plenty there to make it a fun family day out.

What is there to do at Kiplin Hall and Gardens?

You can explore the Jacobean family home and its fabulous grounds. The house was built in the early 1620s by George Calvert who was Secretary of State to James 1 and the founder of Maryland, USA. There are a number of rooms to explore including a Second World War Kitchen, library, bedroom and servant’s tunnels.

There are some beautiful walks around the grounds and a wonderful walled garden. Kids will love to play and explore. There is a play ship, zip wire, wooden obstacles, a bog garden and pond dipping. Plus giant garden games, trails and a family activity room. They also host annual events, some of which are aimed at families.

There is a tea room serving hot and cold food and drinks.

An adult ticket costs £12, children £6 and other pricing options including family tickets are available.
