Lammas Leisure Centre

Lammas Leisure Centre

Lammas Leisure Centre is located in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. It is one of the newest and most modern leisure centres in the area and there are lots of different facilities for all ages and abilities.

What is there to do at Lammas Leisure Centre?

There is a state-of-the-art gym and a range of fitness classes. They also have an indoor ice skating where you can learn to play ice hockey, skate with the family, attend one of their famous ice discos or just skate for fun. Plus there is a green bowls hall and squash courts.

The centre has two state-of-the-art swimming pools which include a recently renovated teaching pool. This has a waterfall, a water cannon, bubbles, sensory sound and interactive light systems. They host a variety of aquatic activities including their award-winning swimming lessons. The main pool is 25m long.

They also now have a soft play area with a TAGactive arena. The soft play has a large play structure plus a separate area for toddlers, with a ball pool, a fun brick house and more. The main structure is 8 metres high and it is split across four different levels. There is a double-lane wave slide, a spiral slide, a drop slide for braver kids, a web crawl tunnel, raised trampolines and more.

The TAG element brings a whole new dimension to play. It is contained within the soft play facility and players are given a wristband. They are then tasked with finding and collecting different shapes which they tap their wristband against. At the end of the game, they see who has tagged the highest number of shapes.
