Lightwater Valley Theme Park

Lightwater Valley is near Ripon in North Yorkshire. It has around 35 rides and attractions and is a theme park for younger families (more suited to children aged 9 and under). Things have changed a bit and they are now aiming at younger families. Make sure you pick up a map so that you can plan your route through the park. Most days there is a cute train running to take you from one area to the other which we love but it doesn’t take too long to walk around.
Things to do at Lightwater Valley Theme Park
The theme park will be open for a summer full of fun for young families. With exciting rides and attractions, Lightwater Valley offers families with children under the age of 10 an amazing value day out in Yorkshire. Younger family members will love venturing into the brand new Safari Zone and going on a trek through the grasslands on board the Savannah Express, spotting the life-sized animals, along the way.
Also, walk through the treetops on our new Treetop Trails adventure. Explore the park from the canopy above and crawl, run or jump along the colourful nets. Head to the Little Dipper and Lady Bird rides for a go on our mini coasters before making a splash on Splash Falls. For an extra £2.50 they have an excellent dinosaur-themed 18-hole crazy golf course.

There is a choice of fast food outlets selling hot and cold food and drinks.
What are the main things to do?
A good selection of rides for toddlers and younger children. Playgrounds include large soft play and themed Angry Birds area. animals, crazy golf and more. There are toilets on-site, fast food outlets and a shop.
What are the ticket prices?
Standard admission for those 90cm+ £22.50-26.50 Children under 90cm are free. Other pricing options are available.
