Lily Hill Park

Lily Hill Park is located near the centre of Bracknell in Berkshire. It is a historical park popular with walkers featuring woodlands, formal gardens and a unique wooden sculpture.

What is there to do at Lily Hill Park?

It has a public space of 23 hectares in size with an extensive network of paths. Most of the park is accessible except for some paths to the east over Vincent’s Hill and Forester’s Hill. You can take a step back in time and enjoy the grand views and attractive features of Lily Hill Park that were experienced by Victorian ladies and gentlemen some 160 years ago.

The park’s formal gardens include an Edwardian water garden, a pond and a ‘ha ha’ sunken fence. There is England’s longest picnic bench which was been carved from a single piece of wood and key features include a Father Oak sculpture and a story-telling throne.

For families, there is an animal tracks trail where you can have fun finding all 7 tracks belonging to some of the animals who visit the park. There are information points at key areas of interest which contain wildlife-themed brass rubbings so make sure you take some crayons and paper. The trail can be downloaded or printed out.
