Llandudno Beach

Llandudno Beach

Llandudno is a family-friendly seaside resort in North West Wales that offers two beaches, North Shore and West Shore to explore. North Shore, the main beach which is a very short walk from the town centre is bustling in the summer. Stretching two miles, the beach curves between the Great Orme and Little Orme headlands and offers sandy, shingle and rock sections.

The sandiest part of the beach is closer to the pier and whilst there is plenty of space, you may want to arrive early in the day to pick the best spot to build sandcastles.

There are plenty of parking spaces on the promenade (pay at the machine, though free after 4 pm) and side roads, though it is best to arrive early unless you are staying in a hotel with a car park. However, one of the main highlights of Llandudno is the fact everything is just a short walk away. From facilities (public toilets are available on the pier for a small fee), shops, restaurants and a whole host of activities for families on holiday, it is easy to see why Llandudno is so popular!
