Things to do at Welsh Mountain Zoo review

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is set high above Colwyn Bay in North Wales. It has panoramic and breathtaking views, set in beautiful gardens. The zoo covers an area of 37 acres and there is a great range of animals,.

Roam the wooded pathways, relax on the grassy slopes and spend a lovely lazy day at the zoo learning about many rare and endangered species from Britain and around the world. In terms of animals, there are more than we could list. They have sea lions, parrots, lemurs, camels, chimps and porcupines. Plus meerkats, snow leopards, tigers, penguins, birds and many more.

There are daily shows including the Penguin parade, chimp encounter, Sea Lion feeding time and there is a birds of prey display (weather permitting).

Their Jungle adventureland is terrific fun for children of all ages, and our Tarzan Trail is a real challenge that will keep the kids entertained for hours and really work up an appetite.
