Mablethorpe Beach
The central beach at Mablethorpe is a beautiful golden sandy beach that stretches for miles. It is accessible even at high tide and you can walk and walk along the beach. It’s certainly somewhere that you can easily find your own spot to enjoy the sand and the sea. The tide is pretty gentle at the beach although swimming between the lifeguard flags is highly recommended. There are also donkey rides on the beach in the summer months.
Mablethorpe Beach is a Blue Flag award-winning beach. There are plenty of attractions close by especially next to the main central beach. Along the front, you will find places to eat including some wonderful fish and chips. There is also Dunes Leisure where there are plenty of family-friendly fairground rides. If you’ve forgotten any beach essentials there are also a few handy shops.
Other attractions close by include crazy golf and amusements. Mablethorpe beach also has a wonderful sand train. It takes you all the way from the central beach north up the coastline to the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary. On its return journey, the sand train even drives in the sea which is great fun and a real highlight to any visit. There is also a land train which also takes you to the seal sanctuary and back to town.
