Mead Open Farm is located in Leighton Buzzard. It’s a farm that offers indoor and outdoor play along with extra fun activities. They also hold a lot of special events, during school holidays which provide even more things to do.
Mead Open Farm review
Make sure you buy a bag of animal food when you arrive as you are allowed to feed the animals, at this farm park. There is an animal barn with sheep, goats, donkeys and cows. In spring you can even help feed the lambs. You can also enjoy rabbit handling sessions. pony grooming and find out all about chickens.
Outdoors there is a sky trail rope course. It is 20 feet high and octagon shape. You need to be over 1 metre and accompanied by an adult unless over 1.2 metres. There is a mini lower course for smaller children. Both have full safety harnesses and the courses are open from February until October.
They also have Go-Karts for those over 1.2 metres. Plus crazy golf with 9 holes and jumping pillows with two sizes. There is also a giant sandpit with diggers and vehicles you can climb into plus buckets and spades to play with. Plus water play so take a change of clothes just in case.
Another outdoor attraction is the adventure playground. There’s plenty to climb on and slide down. There are also smaller go-karts in this area. They also have tractor rides from April until September and a giant rock climbing wall. Indoors there is a huge soft play area. With a separate area for toddlers. There is a big multi-level area with a big drop slide.

Is there food and drink available?
There is a cafe on-site selling hot and cold food and drinks. This is next to the soft play.
What are the main things to do?
Aerial adventure courses, outdoor adventure playground, animal barn with animals, you can feed, go-karts, jumping pillows, crazy golf and indoor soft play. There are toilets on-site and a cafe.
What are the ticket prices?
Ticket prices range from £7-13.00. Under 2’s are free.

Is there parking?
There is free parking.
When are they open?
