Things to do at Mead Open Farm review
Mead Open Farm is located in Leighton Buzzard. It’s a farm that offers indoor and outdoor play along with extra fun activities. They also hold a lot of special events during school holidays which provide even more things to do.
Make sure you buy a bag of animal food when you arrive as you are allowed to feed the animals at this farm park. There is an animal barn with sheep, goats, donkeys and cows. In spring you can even help feed the lambs. You can also enjoy rabbit handling sessions. pony grooming and find out all about chickens.
Outdoors there is a sky trail rope course. It is 20 feet high and octagon shape. You need to be over 1 metre and accompanied by an adult unless over 1.2 metres. There is a mini lower course for smaller children. Both have full safety harnesses and the courses are open February until October.
They also have Go-Karts for those over 1.2 metres. Plus crazy golf with 9 holes and jumping pillows with two sizes. There is also a giant sandpit with diggers and vehicles you can climb into plus buckets and spades to play with. Plus water play so take a change of clothes just in case.
