The Museum of Edinburgh is located in the Canongate area of Edinburgh, Scotland. Formerly known as Huntly House Museum it houses a collection relating to the town’s origins, history and legends.
Exhibits include an original copy of the National Covenant signed at Greyfriars Kirk in 1638 and a reconstruction of Field Marchal Earl Haig’s headquarters on the Western Front during the Great War. It is also home to some spectacular collections of decorative art and more.
The museum has a maze of 16th-century buildings and is located on the historic Royal Mile. There is something inside for young and old.
