Nickelodeon Adventure Lakeside
Nickelodeon Adventure Lakeside is located at the Thurrock Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex. It is an indoor area with a 4D theatre and zones inspired by popular Nickelodeon shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Rugrats. It’s designed for younger children and packed with themed zones based on some of Nickelodeon’s most popular characters, making it an easy, weather‑proof day out for families.
Kids can explore six immersive zones, each offering hands‑on activities, gentle rides and interactive play. In Bikini Bottom, little ones can learn to “drive” at SpongeBob’s Boating School or try the Chum Bucket game. Adventure Bay lets children step into the PAW Patrol Command Centre to help with their next mission, while the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zone includes a fun 4D cinema experience with water and air effects.
There are also creative activities with Dora the Explorer and racing fun with Blaze and the Monster Machines. Height restrictions apply to some attractions, but Rugrats City provides a dedicated soft‑play area designed especially for toddlers. The attraction is fully accessible, with a single‑level layout, wheelchair‑friendly routes and an accessible 4D cinema. Families can take a break at the Slime Café, which serves drinks, sweets and hot food, and there’s a Nickelodeon shop upstairs for themed toys and merchandise.
