Nunnington Hall is located in Nunnington, North Yorkshire. It is a National Trust property with a house and estate that have been altered to suit a succession of owners and tenants over the past 450 years.

What is there to do at Nunnington Hall?

There has been a dwelling here since 1249 but the existing house has grown out of a Tudor Hall. The house today is a combination of renovation and re-purpose. It is an atmospheric and comfortable home. Rooms you can see include the Stone hall, smoking room and the drawing-room. Plus art and photography exhibitions.

You can also explore the gardens at Nunnington Hall. They often have family-friendly trails available and themed crafts. The gardens sit alongside the River Rye which is a lovely spot for some wildlife spotting. There is also an organic walled garden.
