The key feature of the main exhibition room is the ‘Timeline’ which aims to map the history of the town from the formation of rocks to the present-day town. There are various displays including subjects from the geology of the area, a Welsh Guards display, a children’s activity room and more.

There is a Judge’s Chambers exhibition with exhibits from the Orthopaedic Hospital at Gobowen, memorabilia from the Oswestry fire service and more. Plus a Magistrate’s court exhibition with the Pegasus stone, information about the Tanat Valley railway and musical theatre memorabilia.
