Things to do at Out of Bounds review
Out Of Bounds is an activity centre located next to Rustington Golf Club near Angmering which is home to an array of activities for all ages including indoor soft play, a climbing experience, tenpin bowling, foot golf and an adventure golf course.
The soft play area is on multiple levels and suits children up to 12 years of age with a separate area for toddlers. There is a giant spiral slide plus plenty of obstacles and opportunities for climbing, crawling and swinging. Parents can watch from a spacious viewing area which overlooks the golf course.
The ‘clip n climb’ area is for the over-4s, including adults, and after a safety briefing, you are free to clip onto any of the climbing challenges. Staff are available to help and advise, but you are free to move from station to station without needing assistance. There is a ‘leap of faith’ challenge and also a fun body slide.
Laser tag is suitable for over-5s and can be done as a single player or in a team. Your tagging device includes a screen to show your score, has customisable colours and a target range of up to 30 metres. The bowling alley is for all the family and there are special ‘glow in the dark’ sessions for extreme bowlers!
Outside activities comprise a fun adventure golf course with a safari theme and waterfalls, a foot golf course where players attempt to kick footballs into the holes, and jumping pillows which are giant bouncy trampolines. The smaller pillow can hold up to 10 children aged 6 and under, and the larger pillow holds 15 children aged 7-15.
You could spend anything from a couple of hours to a whole day here, and can either pay for single activities or a full day pass which includes adventure golf, foot golf, bowling and clip ‘n’ climb. Some of the fixed sessions last for 30-90 minutes, and others last for as long as it takes you to get to the end.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
