Parc Slip Nature Reserve

The Parc Slip Nature Reserve is located in Glamorgan, Wales. It is a 300-acre park with something for everyone. It is a restored opencast site consisting of grassland, woodland, wetlands and lakes with bird hides.
It is regarded as a safe area for families to discover and enjoy nature with well-maintained traffic-free, cycle tracks. This includes a 4km stretch of the Sustrans National Cycle Route 4 plus over 10km of tracks for walking, including dog walking.
The nature reserve has some accessible paths and it offers a number of annual wildlife events and activities. They also have some pond dipping areas and you can have a go at bug hunting. Pop into the centre for ideas or you can rent one of their Explorer backpacks.
