Attraction Overview

Rushmere Country Park is located close to Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. You can enjoy hiking, biking picnics and more in their 400 acres of ancient woodland with lakes, meadows and heath.

It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and discover nature. You may be able to spot herons nesting in the Spring. Kids will love the Sculpture Trail with fairy doors and a Giant’s chair. It has an access-for-all path that can be accessed from the car park. The path may be inaccessible in bad weather.

There are also play areas and play spots dotted around the site. They have a network of walking, cycling and horse-riding trails and dogs are also welcome. There is a visitor centre, restaurant and a meadow for picnics. The park hosts a number of family-friendly events throughout the year, especially over Christmas time.
