Spinnaker Tower
The Spinnaker Tower is located in Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, Hampshire. It is a 170-metre-high landmark observation tower which is the centrepiece of the redevelopment at the harbour.
Their standard all-day admission tickets are valid all day so you can visit as many times as you like on the day. This also includes their view guarantee. If the visibility on the day is affected so that you can’t see the three Solent Forts from their views decks then speak to their Duty Manager and you may be eligible for a free return.
You will take the high-speed lift to their view deck. At 100 metres up you will experience the South Coast’s most spectacular view. Dare you to walk across the glass skywalk and look down to the harbour 100 metres below you? There is also a higher viewing platform, the Sky Garden. This is open to the elements so you may want to wrap up warm. Experiences at the tower include High tea in the clouds and you can even abseil from April to September, each climber must be aged 14 or over and weigh less than 19 stone.
