Pick Your Own Pumpkins
Stanhill Farm is located near Dartford in Kent. They have a variety of ‘seasonal’ offerings such as pick your own pumpkins, a maize maze and PYO fruit.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch
There is an abundance of pumpkins this year either in the farm shop or the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins start at £1 or you can fill your wheelbarrow (so long as you can push it) for £30. Sessions run from Saturday 16th October through until Wednesday 27th October. Due to a challenging year, weather-wise, and therefore difficult growing conditions for pumpkins, we are predicting our yield will be down on previous years. To avoid the disappointment of customers booking tickets for the end of half term and the risk of us running out, we have decided not to release tickets for the last four days of half term: 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st.
Cost? Free to enter. You pay for what you pick. Prebooking online is essential.
What else can you PYO at Stanhill Farm
They also have pick your fruit, such as strawberries and raspberries, when in season.
The theme this year was summer fun and they went bloomin’ sunflower crazy with a giant sunflower shaped maze surrounded by a border of beautiful sunflowers! Ideal for the kids to run around and lose themselves for a couple of hours!
Price includes a game card and map – the game is to find ten ‘sun stations’ to help you form a secret sunflower word on your game card. Solve the maze puzzle and discover your Sunflower Power! We also have a Mini Maze with further ten-game stations. Fill out your gamecard correctly for the chance to be entered into a prize draw! Maize maze is open from late July until mid-September.
