Butterfly World and Farm Park are located at Studley Grange Craft Village in Stanley, near Swindon in Wiltshire. A tropical paradise has been created in what was once a desolate stretch of redundant farm fields and marshland.

What can you do at Studley Grange Butterfly World and Farm Park?

The butterfly farm is one of the largest in Britain and visitors can see up to 30 species of butterfly with hundreds flying around at any one time. They live in a 600 sq metre hothouse that also has over 200 varieties of tropical plants with streams, rustic bridges, waterfalls and fishponds. There is also a reptile room with snakes, lizards, frogs and a tarantula. Visitors can purchase fish food to feed their hungry koi carp.

They also have a mini zoo with otters, meerkats, raccoons, wallabies, tortoises and more. Feeding times are a good time to see their animals interacting with their keeper. They also offer ZooKeeper experiences for an additional charge. There is also a farm area with rabbits, chickens, cows, pigs, sheep and goats. In the summer they offer tractor-trailer rides where you will ride out to see their animals, out in the fields.

They can even host your child’s birthday party. At Studley Grange, there is a soft play area for children up to the age of 8. There is a range of climbing frames, slides and dens. There is a small charge of around £1.30-1.80 per child per 30 mins. Adults are £2 and receive a free, hot drink. Also at Studley Grange, there is a craft village with a range of crafts that even families can take part in. These are all booked and priced individually.
