Attraction Overview

The Snow Centre is the closest indoor snow centre to London and is located in St Albans Hill, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. They are a skiing and snowboarding centre with lessons and an alpine-themed restaurant.

Inside there is a huge 160-metre main slope as well as the UK’s largest indoor lesson slope. Both slopes are over 30 meters wide and are maintained with the perfect snow. You can learn the basics, hone your skills, enjoy a family day out and even let them host your birthday party.

Other fun on the snow includes their Ringo Slides. You can whizz, spin and slide down a section of the slope in their purpose-built rings, great for all ages from 4 years upwards. Sessions are available at weekends and throughout the school holidays. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring your own gloves. Jacket and trouser hire is available.

Ringo slide £12 per person. Ski lift passes 1-hour adults £30-40, children £25-35. Other pricing options are available and lessons are at a higher cost.
